Water Oak Country Club Estates

If I could give zero stars, I would. I booked a game the day after Christmas with my father and husband. We flew all the way in from Texas. I was told I could not golf because the straps on my golf dress were not greater than 1 inch. They refused to refund my 18 holes, stating they don’t do refunds and would only issue a rain check. I do not live here and if I did I would never return here anyway. I wasn’t told all of this until the 5th hole, so they took my money and then informed me that I was breaking rules. I had to wear a jacket because my straps were too low class for this trailer park golf course. This course is not friendly to women under 60.

This is a great place to live. Water Oak has a Chaska and very nice 18 home golf course drug a clubhouse that has a great staff and excellent food and beverages. The while neighborhood is very friendly and offers a lot of Entertainment and has a 2 pools, tennis courts, pickle ball, softball, workout facility, etc... A very nice place to live

This course is way too expensive for what it is. The owners spend $6 million dollars on this course to change the layout and improve the fairways and greens. They missed their mark. This is the most expensive course in the area. The greens are fast and in great shape, the fairways are fair to good. The hold you at the tee box until the first foursome leaves the green to improve pace of play. Which normally is a good thing. However they start residence that only want to play 9 holes on the back 9 so when you make the turn the pace of play goes away. Fortunately for us the group playing 9 in front of us let us play though. The restaurant was closed and is closed 2 days a week. The only club I know who has the restaurant closed when there are golfers. This is the most expensive golf course in the area and it is at least $20 more expensive to play here. The course is nice, but not nice enough to play at that price with no place to eat after the game. We use to play the old course quite a bit, but the price was a lot less, course was in so-so shape but fun to play and the pace of play was always good. Even if they lower the price I don't think our group will come back. There are too many great to good golf courses in this area to over pay for a game.
